Ta' Fra Ben Seaside Event

Our research partners at the University of Malta have been very busy promoting the ANDROMEDA project’s citizen science campaign and smartphone app this summer with their most recent seaside event taking place on July 12th at Ta' Fra Ben in Malta.

This event was attended by Girl Guides from Belgium, where they were presented with presentations and practical demonstrations in how to carry out beach sampling activities for microplastics, making use of our ANDROMEDA smartphone app and microplastics factsheets developed by the SCEI research group at University College Cork.
