Encuentro Internacional do Lixo Mariño

The 6th installment of the annual Encuentro Internacional do Lixo Mariño will take place this year between October 14th and 16th in Camelle (Coruña). As part of this event, ANDROMEDA research partner Gustavo Blanco (Spanish Institute of Oceanography of Vigo) will give a talk entitled ‘ANDROMEDA Project: Microplastics in the Marine Environment’ on Saturday the 15th from 10:30-11:30am.

This event is organized by the Centre for University Extension and Galician Environmental Science Dissemination and features a range of speakers and events for the public to participate in. You can learn more at the following link!

Gustavo also represented the ANDROMEDA project earlier this month at the Marine Environment Protection Seminar: Marine Litter Problematic Issues which was organized by the Spanish National Center for Environmental Education (CENEAM) in Valsaín, Segovia!
